Led the cross-border acquisition of Nuxt Labs (a leading web development framework) and related OS projects, Nuxt and Nitro. Main business point of contact and negotiator with the seller’s Founder/CEO, acting on behalf of CFO from LOI to closing/early integration. Advised the key functional leaders (CFO, Chief People Officer, Chief Product Officer, COO, VP of Legal) on securing final Board approval, defining the key due diligence requirements, driving all transactional and integration workstreams. Drove cross-functional workstreams including: Developing, preparing and participating in Board approval process; Defining the scope, governance rights and securing of IP for the key open source projects; Collaborate with exec sponsor and people team to secure Employment arrangements; Develop product integration and the commercial wind-down plans with Product and GTM leadership; Navigate complex Export Control and immigration issues; and develop comprehensive comms strategy with Company’s communications lead.
