At Carta, a leading provider of capitalization table management and valuation software, I work within the Fund Administration function, specifically as part of the Post-Close team. We play a key role in ensuring the operational and regulatory compliance of funds and SPVs post-closing across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, BVI, Luxembourg, and the Cayman Islands. Our responsibilities cover a wide range of administrative and reporting tasks, from Companies House filings to tax reporting and submissions. *Key Responsibilities & Contributions* - Support the UK AEOI reporting process for SPV clients, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. Collaborate with the wider Fund Administration team to prepare and file FATCA/CRS reports for funds based in the BVI, Cayman Islands, and Luxembourg. - Created the foundational XML template for Luxembourg tax reporting, streamlining future submissions. - Support the preparation and filing of UK tax returns for LLPs and LPs, ensuring compliance and avoiding penalties. - Participate in the fund distribution process to LPs during exits and wind-downs. - Coordinate across multiple stakeholders including clients, leads, limited partners (LPs), and third-party service providers. - Took the lead in building and testing new distribution workflows on the Carta platform for legacy and new SPV clients, improving process efficiency and client experience. - Streamlined the end-to-end UK tax production and submission process, handling high volumes of client communications with precision and efficiency.
