Plural is an early-stage investment fund that backs the most ambitious founders on a mission to change the world through technology. Our aim is to have GDP-level impact on Europe, address systemic risks and reduce the opportunity gap worldwide through the companies we back. Those who know me know my deep attachment to Europe and its values. I’m convinced the continent can and must play a bigger role in the technology revolution shaping our future. Europe has world-class talent but too few global champions, which is both an opportunity and a necessity in a time of growing geopolitical and economic uncertainty. Plural stands apart in many ways, starting with its partners who are all experienced operators bringing scar tissue, rolling up their sleeves and not being afraid to rally behind big bold bets. In just 3 years, we have raised €800M and became a go-to partner for founders building consequential businesses — from Proxima Fusion and The Exploration Company to Helsing, Monumental, or Metaview

2012 - 2025

  • Senior Vice President, Delivery

    2021 - 2025

I joined Uber in 2012 as one of its early employees, tasked with launching and scaling the company’s ride-hailing business in France. Over the years, I took on broader responsibilities — joining Uber’s Executive Leadership Team and leading operations across EMEA, and eventually all markets outside North America. In 2020, I took the helm of Uber’s Delivery division, best known as Uber Eats. At the time, the business was deeply unprofitable and faced significant investor skepticism. Over the next five years — and through the turbulence of a global pandemic — I led a fivefold expansion of the business, steering it to profitability and establishing it as a core pillar of Uber’s global platform, now roughly matching the scale of its Mobility segment (~$90B annualized GMV). During this period, I evolved Uber Eats from a restaurant-focused food delivery app into a diversified delivery platform spanning Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Pharmacy, and Retail. I also initiated and led several of Uber’s key strategic programs, including its retail media arm (Uber Advertising), membership program (Uber One), and last-mile logistics offering (Uber Direct). Throughout my time at Uber, I’ve been a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion — serving as executive sponsor for Uber’s Women, Black, and Pride employee resource groups — and consistently focused on building diverse, high-performing leadership teams.
