I was the executive sponsor responsible for the Nimbula acquisition - Fusion Middleware Java and Caching Cloud services for Oracle Public Cloud - Fusion Applications Lifecycle including install, provisioning, patching, upgrade, virtualization and Fusion Applications SaaS infrastructure - Fusion Middleware Platform Architecture responsible for architecture and standardization of install, upgrade, patching, high availability and virtualization across the entire Fusion Middleware platform Past positions and projects include: - VP Development for Oracle Exalogic (now Oracle Cloud Machine) - Architect for Oracle Virtual Assembly Builder (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ovab/index.html) responsible for the initial concept and design of OVAB, a tool for "single click" deployment of n-tier systems using assemblies of virtual machine templates - Architect for Oracle's FMW webtier products. 10+ years of building web servers and associated infrastructure. - Team lead and architect for Oracle Fusion Middleware's high availability infrastructure including process management and internal notification system. - Founding member of the Oracle Portland, Oregon development center. Part of a team of 13 original engineers that grew the development center to 125 engineers and a central role in the Fusion Middleware organization.
