• In charge of strategy formulation for company-level R&D activities and intellectual property (IP) layout, and application & management of government projects • Conducted comprehensive investigations and evaluations (clinical needs, existing devices, key engineering technologies, market condition and trend, relevant policies) and initiated technical proposals before company-level R&D projects’ approval. Achievement: Three projects have been approved and set-up based on my investigation and evaluation reports; For two approved projects, my technical proposals were adopted • Analysed and monitored competitors’ IP and directed company-level IP layout. Achievement: Successfully built a moat for company’s future marketing and selling activities in terms of IP • Led application and management of five government projects, which brought the company more than nine million RMB funding in total • Other duties: identifying potential collaborations and business outreach, and representing the company at relevant academic and business conferences; Other achievements: contributed to a national level R&D project as a key member, submitted ten patent applications in the area of medical devices as the first inventor

• As a co-founder independently developed the association charter (officially approved and adopted) and established a new organizational structure and operation model for the association; Created a crucial platform for UK alumni communication and collaboration • Organized the Association Annual General Meetings and social activities including career fairs and boat parties for all alumni; Established and maintained good partnership with various stakeholders including Imperial College London, Peking University UK Alumni Association and Tsinghua University UK Alumni Association • Mobilized financial resources to maintain the operational functioning of the association • Achievement: The association had become one of the most influential Chinese university alumni associations in the UK, with more than over six hundred registered members by 2016
