The Sapphire Leadership Program was originally a student-led organization that served to bring additional opportunities to Penn State's Smeal business students. Under the leadership of our team, the efforts of past presidents, and the involvement of distinguished alumni, I oversaw the program's transition to a university-backed entity with a focused curriculum, annual budget, preferential housing, scholarships, and support from corporate sponsors, faculty, and alumni. Today, the program serves as a unique differentiator for the business college and a resource for high-achieving students.
