In a world of tight capital, high interest rates, and the need to create shareholder value, climate solutions must beat legacy industries on pure economics - better, cheaper, faster. These are solutions that profit-driven capitalists, skeptical executives, and even client deniers will buy - not because they care about the planet, but because it’s just good business. The winning climate solutions will have positive environmental impact built in to the core product or business model – not an afterthought or side effect. There needs to be a direct relationship between impact and commercial success – the bigger the profit, the bigger the impact. We only invest in near market climate technologies that can stand on their own economic merits. We look for startups with: - Massive Impact: Mitigating >50M tons of GHGs annually (0.1% of global annual emissions) - Strong Technical Moat: Advanced, defensible technologies (TRL5+) with proprietary IP or data - Strategic Market Advantage: <2 years to commercial sales, proven demand and unit economics - Climate Denier Proof: Not reliant on subsidies, green premiums or shifting consumer behaviours We invest: - Seed stage - Climate tech - Ticket size: €250-750k - Across Europe, US, Canada, & Israel. We actively contribute to the growth of all of our portfolio companies with our experience in commercialisation, our active investor networks, and our corporate partners.
