SuperDoc, an Open Source Software created by Harbour, is the best in class technology for working with DOCX's on the web and in AI applications. We handle importing, editing and exporting .DocX files(and more) while retaining their original format. We are loved by developers in who work on LegalTech, CPQ, CLM's, GovTech, Data Room Tech, AI, and LLMs to name a few. We care care deeply about formatting, security, redlines, comments and more. Technical TL;DR ✅ View and edit DOCX natively online ✅ Excellent MS Word compatibility supporting importing/exporting, advanced formatting, comments, tracked changes, and more ✅ Can be entirely self-hosted (with fully in-browser DOCX rendering/editing) ✅ Supports optional real-time collaboration with multiplayer editing, live updates, commenting, sharing, and revision history (and pluggable into any backend) ✅ Integrates well with any frontend JS library: Vue, React, vanilla JS, more ✅ Architected for modularity and easy extensibility ✅ Fully available under both an Open Source license (AGPLv3) for community use and a Commercial license for enterprise use ✅ Created and actively-developed by ⛵️Harbour - Superpowered contract management and the SuperDoc community I was a pre-seed and seed investor in Harbour, the creator of SuperDoc. Downtown Music Holdings is a global music-tech unicorn, with a reported $900 million revenue and EBITDA of approximately $40 million. The company is dedicated to fostering a more equitable and innovative music ecosystem. Downtown achieved notable exits totaling $1.175 billion by selling its service businesses to the world’s largest music company, Virgin/Universal Music, for ~19x EBITDA and its IP catalog to Apollo-backed Concord Music for ~20x+. During his time at Downtown, Joe led six music/tech acquisitions totaling ~$300 million over 30 months, all of which met or exceeded management expectations. He also spearheaded global strategy and was involved in M&A, corporate venture capital, corporate development, strategic partnerships, digital licensing, technology, innovation, new product initiatives, and overseeing P&Ls while serving on internal boards. Downtown’s portfolio includes renowned brands such as Downtown Music Services, Songtrust (co-founded by Joe), Downtown Music Publishing, Fuga, CD Baby, AdRev, DashGo, Soundrop, Show.co, HearNow, Illustrated Sound, and Downtown Music Studios. Songtrust, the most popular music publisher in the world, has helped music makers collect hundreds of millions in royalties. We made it easy to get paid publishing royalties from places like Youtube, Spotify, Radio, Pandora, Movies, TV, and pretty much anywhere music is played. “Songtrust offers a rare proposition: getting your publishing royalty money collected, no matter how small your following, from all corners of the world.” - Rolling Stone I owned the P&L, led the day to day and grew Songtrust from $XXk to $XXMM in revenue, from ~1k clients to over 200k+ and scaled from 2 to 80+ employees before passing the reins to focus on strategy for all of its parent( Downtown Music Holdings) portfolio companies. Songtrust was named a top music startup by Billboard Magazine. We've been featured in Techcrunch, The Guardian, Billboard Biz, Hypebot, Digital Music News, Music Week, GQ, Bloomberg and other publications.

Worked as internal managment consultants providing guidance and business intelligence to division stakeholders. Doing what could losely be defined as wrangling big data before big data was really here. We reviewed aggregate trades and determined inefficiencies in their straight through processing and operations. Largely worked on prime brokerage and derivatives which had grown exponentially over that era.
