Lead a team of designers and engineers working to improve the actionability and usefulness of Pins. Recent projects have included speeding the delivery of content surfaced in our in-app browser by implementing the Google AMP spec and shipping a new modular system to improve comprehension by users.

Founded on the premise of making mobile email truly actionable, I began exploring new ways to turn simple gestures and canned responses as a way to deal with email on the go. Along the way, I merged the idea with an existing team in Austin, Texas. Together we built our first iOS version of Boxer, an alternate email client that quickly became a top app in the iTunes App Store. After leaving the team, I stayed on as an expert advisor as they created tablet and Android versions of Boxer. Boxer was sold to VMWare in October of 2015.

Started a small, mobile-focused development lab to explore a new idea around a mobile-first blogging app called Drafty. We kept the team small and iterated on the idea with a handful of beta testers. However, we were persuaded to sell our company to Pinterest and continued our mission there.
