    Recruited by the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board and Operating Partner at Calera Capital (a private investment partnership which has $2.8 billion of capital under management) to provide sales leadership for Sterling Infosystems, the largest North American provider of employment and student screening services, background investigative services and occupational health services. Our clients range from top brands among the Fortune 500 to leading enterprises in many industries including Communications, Education, Financial Services, Gaming, Healthcare, Manufacturing, NSA/Aviation, Retail, Staffing, Technology, Transportation and Utilities. Mr. Siegel, who reported directly to the company CEO, was a member of the Sterling Infosystems US Executive Committee, Client Advisory Board Committee and acted as Co-chairman of the Marketing and Technology Committees. Siegel, an expert in the field of background screening and risk mitigation, focused on driving organic growth by acquiring new customers as well as overseeing Sales Operations and Marketing in the US, Canada and Europe. Since joining Sterling Siegel has spearheaded the post acquisition integration of four sales teams of acquired background screening companies. He and the inside sales team he built are credited with Sterling being recognized by Crain's as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies (published June 2012 in Crain's New York). Few companies in New York—or anywhere else, for that matter—are growing as fast as Sterling Infosystems Inc. Its revenue has rocketed to nearly $250 million from just $7.5 million in 2001, for a compounded annual growth rate of 34% (published June 2013 in Crain's New York). In September 2021 Sterling became a public company (NASDAQ: STER).
