OD2 was Europe’s leading digital distributor of music. The company provided secure digital distribution services and a platform for the sale of music through online syndication partners, who included: MSN, BT, Tiscali, Freeserve, Fnac, HMV, Wanadoo, et al. OD2 was at at the forefront of the revolution to create a legal channel for the digital distribution of music and other media. Charles provided seed capital for the company alongside Peter Gabriel (musician). OD2 was acquired by Loudeye Corp in July 2004 and then by Nokia in Aug 2006.
