- Built much of Claude.ai for initial launch - Led infrastructure migration to consolidate internal and public APIs onto same infrastructure - Handled vendor negotiations for initial launch and scaling of public product: selected and secured infrastructure, fraud prevention, and dev tooling providers - Designed initial fraud pipeline to detect malicious prompts and users - Led work to make the API open-access, including a major rebuild of billing, rate limiting, and internal tooling

2014 - 2018

- Built and re-launched Stripe Connect, one of their most successful business lines. Ran the team for 3 years. - Owned the new hire technical onboarding program, organizing classes and structure for hundreds of employees. - Ran API review for most of my tenure, overseeing the review and process for every public API change. - Rebuilt Stripe's internal API abstractions for better DX around versioning, parameter validation, static introspection, and self-documentation. Successfully encouraged teams to shard migration of every API endpoint to this new framework. - Built, along with a design partner, the original version of Stripe Home.

Founded Y Combinator-funded startup providing eye tracking technology using ordinary webcams. Raised significant seed round, hired 3 employees, ran web engineering and business development, closing significant (6 figure) contracts.

Worked in small team (< 5 devs) on flights metasearch product. Was lead developer on flights mobile site and worked closely with PMs to build out many innovative features in a Javascript-oriented environment (PHP server-side, about 50/50 code split).

Interned with the Web Development team. Worked on support.mozilla.com, addons.mozilla.org, and Download Day. Completed redesign of primary Firefox support site. Helped orchestrate multi-million user emailing in under 4 hours.
